Jslang.com is a website dedicated to helping Japanese language learners
understand various slang, colloquialisms, and regional dialects
of the Japanese language that most dictionaries simply do not have.
Though the content is slang, which is generally not considered a serious
topic, the material presented in this site is treated as seriously as
possible — with kanji, brief etymologies, notes
regarding region, age/gender demographics, part of speech, and example sentences &mdash
in order to make this site useful for both the casual language learner
and the serious academic alike.
Daily e-mails will commence shortly. Click on the "Jslang Mail" tab at the top of the page (or
here) to sign up.
If you have any troubles, please visit the
Frequently Asked Questions page to see if there is an answer to your question, or to ask a question yourself.
Thank you for visiting, and please let your friends and colleagues know about the site if you find it to be a useful resource.
Sincerely,
Jon Roberts
